The Pennsylvania homeschool law has several steps, but we’ll provide guidance for all of it.

The short list is:
file an affidavit and objectives for the school year to the district office (by Aug 1 or before starting the first time) if your student is at least 6 years old by September 1st
keep a portfolio of work samples, reading list, and log of 180 days
complete standardized testing in grades 3, 5, and 8
have a certified teacher write an evaluation and submit to the school district by June 30
teach the required subjects at the elementary or secondary level
We will provide you with the affidavit, sample objectives, and evaluation. We may assist with testing if needed.
Your child can participate in school district activities, sports, extracurriculars, and academics (part time). They can also earn a homeschool diplomas under the law. See the PDE Home Education Guide for more details.
